“The Invisible Power of Ideas” is neither a handbook nor a simple biography of great communicators: it is a map for navigating a world made of stories. Through ten emblematic figures, from P.T. Barnum to Edward Bernays, from Ivy Lee to Doris Fleischman, Betsy Plank, and Al Golin, Massimo Romano shows how communication has shaped wars, habits, and cultures, often operating beneath the surface of our awareness.
A mosaic that weaves together striking anecdotes, strategic reflections, and historical cases, leading up to the challenges of the present, from the advent of Artificial Intelligence, which has even authored the preface to this book, to the ethical and professional questions that lie ahead.
A book for those who work in communication, but also for anyone who wants to understand how ideas shape our everyday lives. Because every era has its invisible words: recognizing them is the most direct way to better read the present and imagine the future.
Preface by Artificial Intelligence. Afterword by Guido Di Fraia.
